Piazza Armerina and Taormina

The Imperial Villa was covered by a landslide 700 years ago.
It was uncovered in 1950. The Villa had over 50 rooms covered in
Roman-African mosaics.
This is the Corridor of the Great Hunt. It has chariots, lions, cheetahs and colorful mosaics.
