On the right, folks were waiting their turn. We are lying as flat as possible so our heads don't hit the entrance. Besides our skipper there were 4 of us in the boat.

We had to wait for the water to calm so we could safely fit through
an entrance way no higher than 3 feet tall.

When it was time, the oars were dropped and our skipper, grabbing on to a chain attached to the inside, pulled us through inside like a mother giving birth to a newborn.

If front of us was a huge dark cave. However, as you looked back at the entrance the water was a beautiful brilliant blue.

Our pictures do not do it justice.

My video shut down from the wave that crashed over us at the entrance.

We had waited about an hour and a half to get the go ahead. It had been raining and the water was rough. Many didn't have the chance. Although we were cold, wet and praying we wouldn't lose our heads, the Grotto truly is a must do !
